Hello Spring!
Here at Thirsty of Travel Designs, we are thrilled for Spring to arrive! Not only for the warmer weather in the Midwest but also to see some of our hard work come to fruition with Spring Break travel in full swing. This time of year is all about family travel and we’ve put together some amazing experiences for our clients…we can’t tell who is more excited, us or them?
Here are a few highlights of what we have planned for our Spring Breakers:
🌷 Private Snowshoeing in Yosemite Valley – This father/daughter trip ends with an exhilarating day of sightseeing and snowshoeing, ensuring they capture all the enchantment that Yosemite Valley offers during the snowy season as it turns into a winter wonderland. Their private guide will lead them to several of Yosemite’s very active winter waterfalls for an unforgettable experience!
🌷 Pottermania – This adorable family will take on all of the Harry Potter things during their visit to London & Edinburgh, starting with a private day trip to Oxford where some of the most recognized sequences were shot for the franchise. They will follow in the footsteps of Harry, Hermione and Ron while visiting Christ Church, New College, Hogwart’s Dining Hall and the tree where Malfoy sat while taunting Harry.
🌷 Cracking the Da Vinci Code – How do you keep teen’s and pre-teen’s engaged while traveling (or in general 😜)? You design a tour where they will have to race against time as the fate of the world lies in their hands! This family will be taking a privately-guided walking tour of the Saint Germain district in Paris, while completing the Da Vinci Code challenge and secretly learning about Paris’ culture and history…talk about a win-win…just don’t tell the kiddos!
🌷 Adventure in Arenal – What’s more fun than two families traveling together?Filling their itinerary with action-packed adventure, of course! From hiking at the base of the Arenal Volcano, to hunting for the elusive 3-toed sloths these families will get to experience all of the splendor of the Costa Rican rainforest. Capping off their stay with zip-lining through the forest…giving them a panoramic view of the magical scenery!
